After re-emerging back in May, Alexander Lee Chang and Vans‘ continuing Sk8-Hi “BOA System” collaboration has yielded another unique skate sneaker. A mid-top Sk8-Hi boasts a monochrome colorway, with contrasting white detailing set against a black suede upper, with a tonal tongue tag emblazoned with the Japanese brand’s logo. As usual, the laces have been swapped for the BOA System, a lacing system usually seen on ski shoes that allows the wearer to simply twist a dial to adjust the fit.
The latest “BOA System” Vans are currently available for pre-order via FREAKS STORE before launching in November.
Most recently, the sneaker company retooled the Sk8-Hi with a set of removable Jazz Stripes.
