24Hrs & T-Pain Collide on the Auto-Tuner for New Track, "What You Like"
Off their forthcoming joint project, ‘24Hrs of Pain.’
Despite the trusty auto-tune becoming so prevalent in hip-hop these days, the auto-tune pioneer himself, T-Pain told HYPEBEAST last year that, “I don’t want no credit for the shit out these days, hell nah (laughs).” Needless to say, he spawned a generation of rappers who have since gone on to adopt the vocal processing technique as can be heard today on this new 24Hrs single that features T-Pain himself called, “What You Like.”
“What You Like” debuted back in June and originally only featured Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign, but with a collaborative album coming soon from 24Hrs and T-Pain, it was only right they connected for the remix. Expect this to appear on their forthcoming 24Hrs of Pain project along with more singles to come.
