Takashi Murakami & Virgil Abloh Tease Collaborative Tote Bag
Embrace the “FUTURE” and respect “HISTORY.”
It’s no secret that Takashi Murakami and Virgil Abloh have been working together recently, with the duo revealing a collaborative print with the Gagosian Gallery and teasing more joint T-shirts. The latest design from the pair sees them collaborate on a tote bag, with some of their signature elements appearing on the piece.
One side of the bag features the classic Off-White™ crossed arrows logo, while the other sees one of Murakami’s signature Mickey Mouse designs. The bag also features the words “FUTURE” and “HISTORY,” which both — unsurprisingly come complete with quotation marks.
There’s no news on when — or if — the latest collaboration from Takashi Murakami and Virgil Abloh will be released, but keep checking back for more news. Abloh has been busy recently, with the designer also working on a skincare and fragrance capsule with Byredo.
