Sprint Just Bought a Big Stake in Jay Z's TIDAL Streaming Service
Could this be the move for TIDAL?

While it’s not exactly clear what the partnership fully entails, Sprint will be acquiring a big chunk of Jay Z’s music streaming platform. As part of the “unprecedented partnership,” the mobile company will now own 33 percent of TIDAL. Jay Z and the artist-owners will remain on board to continue running the company under the new partnership. Meanwhile, Sprint’s new stake in TIDAL comes just a few months after the music streaming service reported a huge loss in 2015; hopefully this will help turn things around.
The official announcement can be seen on Sprint’s official website.
