Rimowa Opens Its First Flagship Store in Paris
“The future of luxury travel comes to Paris.”

Just this past October, LVMH purchased a majority stake in Rimowa to the tune of $716 million USD, vowing to extend the German luggage maker’s retail footprint in the years ahead. Now the European multinational luxury goods conglomerate is making good on its word, opening a brand new Rimowa flagship — in Paris, appropriately enough. Located opposite the Hotel Bristol at 73 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, the new flagship is Rimowa’s largest store to date and presents the label’s entire range of high-end luggage. Spanning five floors in all, the Atelier oï-designed space “brings to life the atmosphere of the golden age of commercial aviation through the iconic aluminium of the Rimowa suitcases and a replica fuselage of the first metallic plane, the Junkers F13.” The store even includes a large exhibition space, a projection room, a customer service center and a full-on repair shop.
