The Fujifilm GF670 Medium Format Camera Returns for a Limited Time
Street photographers, rejoice.

In August 2014, Fujifilm decided to discontinue one of its most ingenious medium format devices, the GF670. Since the beginning of its rollout, many have fallen in love with the GF670’s elusive attribute that features a Fujinon 80mm f/3.5 lens tucked into the actual body of the camera — the lens can be easily unfolded for when it’s time to shoot. Unfortunately, as the masses leaned towards digital, the company halted production for the aforesaid camera due to the increasing lack of popularity for all things film.
This time around, however, if you never had the opportunity to purchase the camera, now’s your chance to nab the nifty shooter before it disappears on the racks forever. According to Acquire Mag, “a small treasure trove of boxes were discovered at an American warehouse that contained brand new GF670s.” The camera is capable of shooting 6×7 format images on 120 film — allowing for a total of 10 exposures per roll.
The Fujifilm GF670 medium format rangefinder camera is now available for pre-order at bhphotovideo.com for approximately $1,800 USD.
