Run The Jewels Create Augmented Reality Platform for New 'RTJ3' Album
The “augmented reality app” is out now.
After surprising everyone with the Christmas Eve digital release of RTJ3, rap super-duo Run The Jewels have released the physical edition of the album in the U.S. today. In addition, they’re also unveiling this new new cutting-edge expression, ARTJ. Its being called an “augmented reality-based platform” that unites RTJ’s passion for art and technology with their desire to reach fans in new and compelling ways. Art from the duo’s vinyl, CD, posters, stickers, even T-shirts and digital images, have all been enabled for ARTJ and become unlocked once the user’s phone is pointed at the image. Check out the demo video above along with the official download here. Also, stream their new album here if you haven’t already.
