Nike Air Max 1 Receives A SNOW BEACH-Inspired Colorway
Yellow, red, and navy hues.
‘Lo heads, rejoice. Nike is preparing to drop an Air Max 1 with a color palette inspired by a most recognizable SNOW BEACH pull-over jacket. Yellow, red, and navy hues adorn the classic low-top that reflect the outerwear piece purveyed by the Polo Ralph Lauren offshoot in the late ’80s. Hip-hop fans will be sure to point the jacket out in Raekwon’s “Can It Be All So Simple” music video (1: 20-mark in the clip below). For full nostalgia effect, the Swoosh even embellished the sneaker with plastic “AIR MAX” tags on the heel caps that pay homage to the Air Max 93 silhouette. Lastly, crisp white midsoles are added to the silhouette for a clean contrast.
