Netflix Introduces David Chang's New Food Show, 'Ugly Delicious'
The series focuses on comfort foods.
With the grand opening of his second Momofuku Noodle Bar location on the way, revered chef and restaurateur David Chang has partnered with Netflix for a new series.
David Chang’s first food-related program in six years, Ugly Delicious will take viewers on a journey through the world’s best comfort food spots, allowing insightful conversations with artists, writers, other chefs, entertainers and other high-profile figures to tell the story. Previously, Chang worked with PBS for the 2012 season of The Mind of a Chef. To introduce the show, Netflix has released its official lead trailer, which finds Chang and his friend Ali Wong — in the midst of waiting for their Vietnamese dish orders — talking about the appropriate service for a truly great restaurant.
