M83 to Embark on World Tour

The major tour announcements keep on flooding on. Late last year, news surfaced that M83‘s “eclectic, epic” next studio album was nearing completition. Now, it seems like we’ve inched one step closer to that effort’s official announcement. After months of relative quiet, M83 has revealed plans for an expansive new global tour. Set to begin in New Orleans on April 6, the tour will run for four months and conclude in Budapest on August 15. The performances are presumably in support of M83’s forthcoming project. With plans in motion for the release of M83’s first studio album in five years and this newly-announced trek, let’s hope news concerning the specifics of M83’s next LP are on the horizon.
