Japanese imprint ADAM ET ROPÉ once again teams up with French-based agnès b. on a set of box logo collaborative hoodies. First seen on a T-shirt, the capsule features either a red logo atop a white hoodie or a blue logo atop a black hoodie. Marvel Studios’s Black Panther is set to release next month and with that, the film’s costume designers, Douriean, are dropping some official jewelery and accessories. Included in the range are sterling silver claws and masks, all taken straight from the hero’s costume. Each claw is embossed with “Wakanda forever” in Wakandan, a nod to Black Panther’s kingdom. Originally debuting during New York Fashion Week: Men’s, the dystopian-like pieces walked alongside a set paying homage to a small Chinatown locality in New York City’s Lower East Side district dominated by red and blue neon lights coupled with a rain and smoke machine. Marking the Belgian designer’s second show, star items from the collection include umbrellas with glowing handles, lanterns featuring iconic New Order and Joy Division artwork by Peter Saville as well as a series of collaborative tote bags with Eastpak. References to Blade Runner is made even more apparent with “Replicants” graphics found upon a number of items. For the upcoming Winter Olympics, Nike has created a “Medal Stand Collection” to support Team USA. The range includes a Summit Jacket System, Team USA Pant, NSW Gaiter Boot and Medal Stand Gloves. The Summit Jacket System incorporates a Team USA Hypershield Summit Jacket with GORE-TEX® waterproof shell that houses a Team USA Insulated removable bomber jacket. The Team USA pant is comprised of material from a DWR coat repels rain and snow. For the footwear, the NSW Gaiter Boot shares a lace-free lockdown and allows the wearer to customize their fit thanks to its ankle zipper and midfoot strap. Closing out the pieces are the Medal Stand Gloves as it includes a waterproof layer and needed ventilation areas thanks to Nike’s AeroShield technology. Nike’s Team USA “Medal Stand Collection” will launch on January 15 via Nike.com and select Nike retailers.
