Post Malone's "rockstar" Breaks Spotify Global Charts Record for Longest No. 1 Run
And it’s still going strong.

Post Malone‘s “rockstar” is hands down the biggest record of the year. Not only did the song top the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks — making it the longest run at number one for a rap song in 2017 — the song just broke the record for longest no. 1 run on the Spotify Global Charts.
The song mains its position for 108 days straight and currently has no indication that it will be dropping from the top spot anytime soon. The track currently has over 650 million streams across the world and continues to get over 4 million plays a day. This is a big accomplishment for both Posty and 21 Savage. The song currently sits at no. 3 on the Hot 100 behind Camila Cabello and Young Thug’s “Havana” and Ed Sheeran and Beyonce’s “Perfect” and has been on the charts for 16 weeks. Previously, the song also broke Apple Music’s first week streaming record.
