Listen to James Blake's New Single, "If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead”
He’ll also join Kendrick Lamar for a European tour later this year.
After paying a cover tribute to world renown artist Vincent Van-Gogh last month, musician James Blake is gearing up for presumably a new project, sharing his first track of 2018 today, titled “If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead.” Accompanied with a visual companion, the glitchy single finds the British crooner showcasing a darker side, pairing murky synths with stuttering ghoulish vocals that sample his trademark pitched-up vocals. Meanwhile, the track is Blake’s first single since the release of 2016’s The Colour in Everything.
In addition to James Blake joining Kendrick Lamar on a European tour later this year, he’ll also be appearing on the Black Panther soundtrack, executive produced by K. Dot as well.
