UPDATE: Kendrick Lamar to Open 2018 Grammy Awards With U2 & Dave Chappelle
Sam Smith, Elton John, and Miley Cyrus will also take the stage.
UPDATE: Not only is Kendrick set to perform at this year’s Grammys, but, according to E!, Lamar is set to open the show at MSG — alongside both U2 and Dave Chappelle, no less.
Kendrick Lamar, Sam Smith, and U2 will perform at this year’s Grammy Awards. The 2018 Grammys will be held at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on January 28. Kendrick, who is nominated for seven awards this year, will open the show. Elton John and Miley Cyrus will also perform one of John’s classic hit songs together.
Last week, it was announced that Bruno Mars, Cardi B, SZA, Kesha, Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee along with Alessia Cara, Khalid, and Logic were going to perform. Other previously reported performers include Childish Gambino, P!nk, Patti LuPone, Lady Gaga, Little Big Town, Kesha and Ben Platt. The 60th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on CBS at 7:30 p.m. EST.
