Helmut Lang Honors Photographer Peter Hujar in "Artist Series" Collection

Helmut Lang spotlights late photographer Peter Hujar for its year-long “SEEN BY: THE ARTIST SERIES.”
Hujar is widely-acclaimed for his piercing black and white portraits depicting nude subjects. These individuals were celebrities as well as Hujar’s close friends who lived in New York City’s downtown district back in the 1960s. Novelist Susan Sontag and painter David Wojnarowicz were intimately spotlighted in his photos.
To commemorate the photographer, Helmut Lang is launching a limited edition long-sleeve T-shirt (approx. $125 USD), poster (approx. $35 USD), and a brushed fleece blanket (approx. $195 USD). The items are currently available for purchase at Helmut Lang’s official website.
