Gucci Mane Reveals Plans for Upcoming Biopic
“Coming to a theatre near you.”

After releasing his critically acclaimed autobiography last year, Atlanta’s Gucci Mane has announced plans to take his life story to the big screen. Taking to Twitter, Guwop revealed that The Autobiography of Gucci Mane is “coming to a theatre near you.”
As it stands, there is no news on when the movie is going to begin production or is scheduled for release, but Gucci also seemed to reveal that the film would be directed by him and produced by a new film-division of his 1017 record label.
This wouldn’t be Gucci Mane’s first foray into cinema, with the rapper once reportedly working on an independent film with Rick Ross. Other than that, he has revealed plans to turn his El Gato: The Human Glacier into a movie, and appeared alongside Selena Gomez in 2012’s Spring Breakers.
As well as plotting his new film, Gucci Mane has also recently revealed plans to sign Lil Pump to 1017.
