Not all remixes are worth listening to, but this one is definitely not to be missed. Honduran-American singer-songwriter Empress Of puts her own spin on Miike Snow‘s month-old track “Genghis Khan.” The Terrible/XL artist transforms the original’s dancehall-inspired alt-rock aesthetic into her own synth-laden, electronic version. It’s not too far off from the original but EO’s rendition definitely depicts a more intense yet slow-paced vibe. Listen to it below.
