Watch CLOT Set Fire to Its Own Nike Air Force 1 Premium
Revealing an elusive layer underneath its silk uppers.
CLOT and Nike recently ended rumors of their official collaboration on an all-new Air Force 1 Premium silhouette. The collaborative low-top is draped with luxurious “CLOT Royale White” silk uppers embellished with Chinese cultural symbols that invoke luck, happiness and prosperity. To top it all off, the duo equipped the kicks with translucent rubber outsoles.
This time around, the streetwear mainstay posted a video of setting the pair on fire. Once the silk uppers were burned to a crisp, a secret feature of the shoe appeared. From the look of it, a laser-etched layer is hiding underneath the uppers.
The official release of the CLOT x Nikelab Silk Air Force 1 is slated for this February 2 at all JUICE stores in Asia and on CLOT.com at 12 p.m. HKT. Watch the video above and let us know if the pair is on your radar.
