Call of Duty: WWII has released a new trailer for its first expansion pack which focuses on Nazi zombies called The Darkest Shore. Although the DLC pack will include new maps Valkyrie, Anthropoid, and Occupation and a new War Mode mission, the trailer focuses on a story mode involving Nazi zombies.

The Darkest Shore story takes place on a stranded island where Doktor Straub from previous chapters continues his experiments, which includes new zombies to kill. Activision describes the story:

“The Darkest Shore follows our heroes into the next chapter of their dangerous journey. Only days after the horrific disaster of Mittelburg, the crew has received intel that suggests Doktor Straub is on an island just north of Germany. Blanketed in fog, this island is surrounded by Nazi air and sea power–and crawling with the Undead. Marie, Drostan, Olivia, and Jefferson will need to battle all this and more to uncover the mysteries hidden within the Darkest Shore.”

The expansion will be available for PlayStation 4 owners on January 30, with an Xbox One and PC release following a month later. Adopters of the season pass will get access for free, while all others can purchase it separately. Check out the trailer above and share your thoughts in the comments below.
