UNITED ARROWS & SONS and adidas Originals Link Up on Athletic Capsule
Including apparel and two NMD silhouettes.

After working together as part of the adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange, adidas Originals and UNITED ARROWS & SONS have revealed another collaboration. The new capsule sees the Japanese brand look into the adidas archives for inspiration, with classic sportswear apparel reworked and updated.
Key pieces in the collection include a coach jacket that features large 3-Stripe branding across the shoulder, as well an athletic T-shirt featuring an all-over dual branding print. Other pieces in the collection include tracksuits and a suit that mixes sports and tailoring influences. The branding for the collection was designed by Japanese artist Kosuke Kawamura, who reinterpreted each brand’s logo using his “shredding” technique.
As well as the apparel offering, the collaboration also sees United Arrows & Sons take on two adidas silhouettes: the NMD_R2 and NMD_CS1. Both silhouettes come in a light grey colorway, with the NMD_R2 featuring contrasting heel patches and laces. The NMD_CS1 has a marled fabric construction atop the BOOST tooling. Both shoes are then finished with collaborative branding details and 3-Stripe markings which are only visible under flash.
The collection — which is modelled by footballer Kasper Dolberg — is set to drop at select retailers such as END. on January 20. In other adidas Originals news, take a first look at the Dragon Ball Z capsule that is slated to drop later this year.
