Donald Glover Thanks Migos in 'Atlanta' Golden Globe Awards Speech
For making “Bad and Boujee.”

Donald Glover and the Atlanta cast won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. During his acceptance speech, Gambino thanked those who were involved with the show, like producer Dianne McGunigle, writer and brother Stephen Glover, and director Hiro Murai. He also made sure to shout out Gwinnett County rap trio Migos: “I just really want to thank Atlanta and all the black folks in Atlanta. For real. Just for being alive and doing amazing [things] and being amazing people. I couldn’t be here without Atlanta. And I really want to thank the Migos—not for being in the show—but for making ‘Bad and Boujee.’ Like that’s the best song ever.” He calls them “The Beatles of this generation” and that “they don’t get a lot of respect.” Watch the speech below.
