adidas Issues Monochrome A//D Twinstrike, Crazy 8 & Crazy 1

The futuristic-looking adidas Consortium A//D sneakers feature retro, stripped-down detailing and — until the recent “Parallel Dimension” pack — bold colorways. adidas continues reworking Consortium A//D models in clean colorways with its new Twinstrike, Crazy 8 and Crazy 1 silhouettes.

As is normal for the A//D sneakers, the uppers are stripped down and extraneous components are removed, making for more streamlined footwear. Each sneaker is updated with simple monochrome colorways, accented with pops of red. As usual, mesh appears throughout the uppers, accented by leather and suede, with the majority of each shoe emblazoned in clean white. Black detailing shows up throughout, complemented by hits of grey — The Twinstrike features the contrasting colors around the ankle and on the toe, whereas the other two models bear the tones around the laces and rear of the shoe, occasionally seen on the toe or midsole.
