Imagining a Virgil Abloh x adidas "Triple Off-White" Ultra Boost
What would happen if the designer left Swoosh for stripes?
With Virgil Abloh‘s “The Ten” collaboration with Nike about to drop, its almost impossible to imagine the designer ever teaming up with adidas. Toronto-based graphic designer Corbs, however, has embraced the unimaginable and mocked up a “Triple Off-White” UltraBOOST as if it had been designed by Virgil Abloh himself. The design incorporates some of the elements from Virgil’s Nike collaboration, such as the red industrial tag as well as the words “SHOELACES” and “BOOST” written in the designer’s classic quote marks.
As this is only a mock-up, Corbs’ design is unlikely to ever get a proper release — so you’ll just have to make do with “The Ten,” scheduled to drop in the coming weeks. Get ready to pick up the Nike x Virgil collaboration by reading the full collection’s release information.
