Under Armour Heads to Portland for New Innovation & Design Hub

After months under construction, Under Armour has just completed its new 70,000 square foot Portland headquarters.
The Southwest Portland building sits next to Dunaway Park and will serve as UA’s center for “performance innovation, bringing footwear design, development and innovation.” Th new design hub boasts a biomechanics lab, a performance training facility for athletes and plenty of room for designers and developers.
“Footwear is a key driver of our long-term growth and success,” says Peter Ruppe, UA’s Senior Vice President for Footwear. “We’ve established a strong foundation, and now UA PDX represents a considerable leap forward towards creating leading performance footwear designed to make athletes better.”

Earlier this month, UA teamed up with Concepts and Tom Brady for a new style of sneakers.
