adidas Gets Functional With the "Dark Burgundy" UltraBOOST ATR Mid
Loaded with all the latest performance tech.
Four months after the unveiling of the Heather Burgundy UltraBOOST ATR Mid, adidas has revealed another integral part of the ATR puzzle.
Producing a runner for seasonal landscapes, adidas serves up the Dark Burgundy iteration of the UltraBOOST ATR Mid. Boasting the latest in adidas’s performance technology, this new UltraBOOST features BOOSTTM, the “Continental Stretchweb” outsole, a reflective construction to guard against the elements, stronger ankle protection, a midsole with “ultra-responsive comfort and cushioning that stores and returns energy” regardless of outside conditions and “splash-repellent” Primeknit materials. Regardless of how dark it is outside or how hard it’s raining, the UltraBOOST ATR Mid is ready.
In a statement, adidas Running’s Stephan Schneider shared the following:
“The autumnal weather can be unpredictable and as a result it took us longer than usual to develop these products … Extensive testing ensured that each design element offers protection and uncompromised comfort in any condition. We specifically focused on increasing the ankle height in order to protect and create a smoother movement from the leg into the foot with each stride.”
