Tinder Becomes the Top-Grossing iOS App With Its Latest Feature
Will you be upgrading?

Just days ago, dating app Tinder introduced a new feature — sadly stateside for now — which allows users to see who likes them without having to swipe right back. First tested with its Tinder Gold subscription tier in select markets, Tinder has now become the App Store’s top-grossing app in just one day after it was unveiled.
Introducing Tinder Gold, the optional Tinder Plus subscription that runs $4.99 USD per month, on top of the $9.99 USD a month Tinder Plus service. Since you need to be a Plus user in order to purchase the Gold upgrade, this means people are dishing out the $14.99 USD a month fee helping the app to make its way to the top. For all you anxious Android users, Tinder Gold will arrive for the platform next month.
In the past Tinder has introduced monetary features such as Super Like — a blue star marks your profile for the person who mutually swipes right back — and Tinder Boost — which places your profile at the top of the stack.
