Renowned Super Mario 64 hacker Kaze Emanuar has successfully implemented online multiplayer capabilities on the 1996 classic. In collaboration with fellow hackers Melonspeedruns and Marshivolt, the project is available for download and allows up to 24 players to play around in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Characters available aside from Mario himself are his brother Luigi, his muse Princess Peach, Toad, and even doppelgängers Wario and Waluigi, all of which have their own unique mechanic. Wario can be crushed by Whomps with minimal damage, Waluigi is light on his feet but takes more damage, Peach can use her signature floating technique, and Toad like always is the fastest character.
