Diamond Supply Co. Pays Tribute to The Beatles With a New Sneaker
Referencing the band’s 1968 film “Yellow Submarine.”
Legendary British band The Beatles have been honored with a number of collaborations recently, with COMME des GARÇONS reissuing its 2009 capsule and NIGO’s HUMAN MADE paying tribute to the band with a collection of graphic T-shirts and sweaters. The latest brand to celebrate the iconic band is Diamond Supply Co., with a new capsule collection of apparel and footwear that references the band’s 1968 animated film Yellow Submarine.
The collection’s footwear sees a classic skating silhouette reworked with a 10oz canvas upper decorated with a range of black and white illustrations from the film and finished with white stitching, white laces and a white rubber outsole. The sneaker’s all-white upper is then contrasted by a bright yellow sole. The “Beatles Avenue” sneaker from Diamond Supply Co. is available now from the brand’s web store, with the retail price set at $70 USD.
