According to sources, it appears as though footwear design maverick Salehe Bembury has taken his talents over to luxury design house Versace to spearhead its sneaker division. The enigmatic artist has, over the years, worked with a handful of noted brands, including direct-to-consumer label, GREATS, as well as Kanye’s YEEZY line — developing both its Season 3 and Season 4 collections, respectively.

Bembury got his first big break as a member of Cole Haan’s “Innovation” team — helping to devise the label’s esteemed LunarGrand silhouette. In other footwear news, Acne Studios recently unveiled its Mint Green Sofiane sneaker.
