Roger Federer Discusses His Love for Air Jordans While 'Sneaker Shopping'
The 19-time grand slam winner talks about working with Tinker Hatfield.
On the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping, tennis legend Roger Federer took to Stadium Goods with host Joe La Puma. While taking a look at some of the hottest sneakers on the market, the two discussed Federer’s love for Air Jordans and how he came to appreciate the shoes in his younger years. Federer discussed how Michael Jordan held himself as a professional, while being the very best in his field.
The two then moved on to talk about legendary Air Jordan designer Tinker Hatfield. Federer described Hatfield as someone with “an incredible mind” and also works very fast. Federer then described the process of working with Air Jordan for the first time, which eventually led to his own version of the Air Jordan 3 in both white and black.
