New Balance Goes Anime With New 'Evangelion' Collaboration
A special edition set for China.
New Balance has revealed the full lineup of its upcoming collaboration with the makers of the Japanese anime, Evangelion. Featuring a collection of new Fresh Foam Cruz colorways, the new model will also come built with a synthetic mesh upper and a flexible heel tab making for an easy slip-on. The sneaker is also built with New Balance’s Fresh Foam midsole which is sandwiched between the upper and the gum outsole along the bottom.
On top of this, the new Fresh Foam Cruz models will come in special Evangelion-branded packaging. Instead of your traditional shoe box, the sneaker will come packed in a white zip up bag with both party’s branding along the front.
The Evangelion x New Balancer Fresh Foam Cruz colorways are set to drop in China on September 9 for 659 yuan (about $100 USD).
