PUMA & Distinct Life Honor Photographic Art for a "Monochrome" Collection
Inspired by Rick Williams and Los Angeles.
After linking up with Daily Paper to create a special football-themed capsule, PUMA joins forces with Detroit-based creative agency Distinct Life for a new collaboration.
Created alongside Rick Williams and his talented team, PUMA and Distinct Life honor monochromatic art and photography. Taking direct inspiration from Williams himself, the two companies place his own personal photographs on new shoe designs, creating the PUMA x Distinct Life IGNITE Limitless and the Suede V2. Keeping in line the subdued hue theme, each sneaker cleanly employs straightforward black, white and grey colors. Faux ostrich leather and suede are used to give the shoes a rich, luxury texture.
Along with the shoes, a range of collaborative apparel that takes it themes from Los Angeles culture will also be available; it will include a PUMA Windbreaker and other fashionable, functional offerings.
You can take a look at PUMA and Distinct Life’s new collaboration above, while the IGNITE Limitless will hit the market for $120 USD and the Suede V2 will be available for $90 USD starting October 5. The price-tag for the other items will range from $28 USD to $120 USD. Consumers can expect Nice Kicks, Puma Lab Powered by Foot Locker and Wish to stock the products.
Previously, Daily Paper linked up with New Balance for another new style of shoe.
