Mac DeMarco Blends CGI & Retro Graphics for Trippy "This Old Dog" VR Video

Nearly four months after the release of his third studio album This Old Dog, popular singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco returns with a new visual to support his latest LP. Once again, the 27-year-old Canadian artist sets his sights on the This Old Dog title track and lead single for the second official video off the cut.
Switching gears to the world of virtual reality, Mac DeMarco delivers a fittingly-strange vignette for “This Old Dog.” While the previous video’s pig-man hybrid and Winnie the Pooh love story wasn’t exactly a conventional narrative, this animated, tripped-out VR collage of CGI and retro graphics from multimedia talent Rachel Rossin definitely tops the “weirdness” factor.
“If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to see the world through Mac DeMarco’s eyes the new VR music video for ‘This Old Dog,’ from his recent album of the same name, might give you a taste,” reads the clip’s official description.
