Sneakerness & ASICS's Collaborative GEL-Lyte V Is Inspired by a European Passport
Housed in a special wooden box.
Sneakerness has teamed up with ASICS on a limited pair of GEL-Lyte V sneakers dubbed “Passport.” This marks the European sneaker convention’s first collaboration with the Japanese imprint. The low-top running shoe is predominantly swathed in a rich burgundy hue alongside a white sole and gum outsole for sleek contrast. The ubiquitous Tiger Stripes logo is adorned in gold on the medial sides that complement the embroidered “ASICS” wording on the heel caps. All in all, the shoe pays homage to a European passport. Conclusively, each pair is encased in a wooden box and arrives with two pairs of insoles: Bordeaux and white options embellished with colorful stamps.
The “Passport” pack is limited to 100 units worldwide. Expect the Sneakiness x ASICS GEL-Lyte V collaboration to launch on September 9-10 during the Sneakerness Paris convention at Cité de la Mode.
