Hummel Hive Takes Inspiration From Its Aarhus Home for "North Sea" Pack
Referencing the brand’s coastal roots.
Danish brand Hummel Hive has released its new “North Sea” pack, which takes inspiration from its headquarters in Aarhus and the surrounding ocean. The two-sneaker pack features both the HB Team silhouette, originally a handball sneaker, and the Marathona OG silhouette in a blue colorway that takes influence from the North Sea with bright red details that reference ocean buoys. The sneakers also feature references to the brand’s Aarhus base, with the latitude and longitude on Aarhus Harbour printed on the tongue of the sneakers, laces inspired by sailing rope patterns, and zigzag stitching from sailing construction. Both sneakers in the pack are available now from Hanon, with each one costing £99 GBP or $130 USD.
