adidas by kolor Widens Its Scope With New 2018 Spring/Summer Collection
Pushing on with the high fashion/sportswear hook-up.
adidas by kolor has continued its ongoing high fashion/sportswear collaboration, this time releasing imagery from the 2018 spring/summer collection. The collaboration has always been focused on bringing kolor’s sportswear-slanted tailoring to the realm of actual sportswear, and that respect this latest collection continues to follow that pattern with the images above revealing a short-sleeved poncho, running tights, multi-fabric hoodie, and a pair of sneakers — all of which look to be modeled after cycling wear. Designer Junichi Abe (husband of sacai’s Chitose Abe) has added his own twist to the cycling influence, making sure the garments are unmistakably kolor.
There’s no word as of yet about when more images will be released but expect an update soon. This teaser marks the end of a relatively quiet time for kolor, who last unveiled some DSM Ginza-exclusive products earlier this month.
