A Closer Look at the Nike Air Max 97 "Light Pumice"
Inspired by the volcanic rock.
After receiving a first look at the four earthy colorways of Nike’s Air Max 97 silhouette, the sportswear giant recently released a closer look at the “Light Pumice” iteration included in the upcoming range release. The volcanic rock-inspired iteration of the premium retro runner features a grey and khaki-toned multi-material upper, which is accented by a full-length Air Max sole unit. Mesh, suede and a glossy reflective material found on the paneled upper serves to highlight the clean lines found in the model’s defining retro look. Retailing at $170 USD, the Nike Air Max 97 “Light Pumice” is set to release August 4 at retailers like Alchemy.
