Kaiju enthusiasts got a small glimpse of the Netflix animated feature Godzilla: Monster Planet last month, but now Toho Studio has released the film’s full-length trailer, showcasing the King of the Monsters’ newest adventure and design.

The trailer is devoid of an English dub or subtitles as of now, but it offers a display of the film’s artwork which utilizes 2D and 3D animation, as well as the epic scale of the show in the abandoned Earth ruled over by Godzilla, advanced human tech, and assortment of other massive monsters.

Godzilla director Kobun Shibuno said in a statement, “I’m thrilled to collaborate with two very talented colleagues, Mr. Gen Urobuchi and Director Kobun Shizuno to bring to life a unique vision of a universal human drama set in an epic world.” Meanwhile Greg Peters, President of Netflix Japan added, “We are truly delighted to unveil Godzilla, which is the latest addition to our growing catalog of Netflix original anime content. Working with the best creators such as Toho in bringing Godzilla to Netflix users in over 190 countries marks a major milestone for us.”

Take a look at the trailer above and expect even more original content out of Netflix next year as it’s expected to spend $7 billion USD on it.
