Arsuf is a small and isolated district in central Israel that is engulfed in natural beauty. The Arsuf Residences by Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture is one luxury establishment in the region that offers sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea and natural surroundings. The modern structure located atop a high cliff is predominantly constructed out of cantilevered concrete alongside shuttering materials, layers of greenery, and an enfilade of terraces. Additionally, the water-front domicile boasts 10 private residential units, a dark reflective pool, horizontal bridges, and self-supporting stairs. Not to mention, a team of external designers planned the interior decor for each apartment.
“It was our view that the building would benefit from a diversity of perspectives and interpretations and that the building was so strong that it could serve as a wonderful case study of how individual clients and their designers would address the potential of each space,” said Asaf Gottesman in a statement.
