The highly anticipated adidas x Hender Scheme collaboration is dropping on September 1, retailing from $900 USD to $1,000 USD per pair. The collaboration takes on the MicroPacer, NMD R1 and Superstar silhouette and is limited to 900 pairs only, due to the traditional handmade craftsmanship technique.
Whilst the collaboration will be available on the adidas Originals by Hender Scheme microsite, the collaboration will also be available on HBX with prices set at $900 USD for the Superstar HS silhouette, $950 USD for the Micropacer HS, and $1,000 USD for the NMD R1. In an interview with Intelligence magazine, senior design director of adidas Originals, Erman Aykurt, and Hender Scheme’s founder Ryo Kashiwazaki revealed the origins of the collaboration and the significance of the upcoming drop.
