White Mountaineering and Danner are set to release their newest collaborative shoe using the “Danner Light” model. Coming in three timeless options, the footwear capsule sees a removable shoelace cover and a zipper front closure. When the covers are removed, they reveal laces to tie the shoes instead of zipping them up.
Zippers are also added on both sides for ease of use and the brand’s thicker soles are utilized to ensure stability and comfort on any terrain. The Danner logo makes appearances on the back heel and tongue of the shoe for subtle touches of branding. The shoes are available in different designs. The camo-printed pair makes a great option for die-hard outdoor and military aesthetic enthusiasts. Tan delivers a tried-and-true hue that will never age in style. Lastly, the all black option perfectly balances the other two, while giving minimalists a rugged yet monochrome choice that will go with just about any outfit. All three are without a doubt ideal choices for any season and the functional aspect could be the selling point for some looking to cop as Danner is a trusted name when it comes to quality, durability, and style. Additionally, Danner has caught the eye of some other contemporary labels such as N.HOOLYWOOD, Topo Designs, New Balance, FDMTL, SOPHNET., and BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS.
The White Mountaineering x Danner’s “Danner Light” collaboration is set to release on July 22 at the Daikanyama store and will be on sale on July 29 at White Mountaineering Isetan Shinjuku Store at ¥62,000 JPY ($550 USD).
