Gucci Takes You to the Places That Have Inspired the Brand with 'Gucci Places'
Featuring an app and location-specific patches.
Gucci has launched a new project that will look at various locations that are important to the brand. “Gucci Places” will feature a selection of places that reflect the Italian house’s taste and values before compiling them on a page of the brand’s app. The idea behind the project is to create a network of locations and encourage the Gucci fans to learn more about them and share the brand’s appreciation for them.
As well as the app, “Gucci Places” will also see a selection of products based on those in Gucci’s Courrier collection that have been finished with a patch inspired by the location. The first place chosen by Gucci is Chatsworth House, a country house in England where the brand’s 2017 Cruise campaign was shot. The accompanying customised accessories will be available from the location and Gucci’s Sloane Street store in London from mid-July.
This is just the latest project launched by Gucci, with the brand recently announcing it was making the move into homeware.
