Phil Knight's Net Worth Increased by $1.9 Billion USD After Nike-Amazon Deal Announcement
The Swoosh’s co-founder is now worth at an estimated $26.6 Billion USD.

Nike Co-Founder Phil Knight‘s net worth just went up by $1.9 billion USD after it was announced that the athletic footwear/apparel brand has struck a deal with Amazon, according to Forbes. This puts Knight’s total net worth at an estimated $26.6 billion USD. He is now the 29th richest person in the world.
The Swoosh’s stock had an uptick of nearly 11% since the deal confirmation. ”We’re really looking forward to seeing how this pilot combines, ultimately, the convenience that Amazon is well known for with Nike’s brand and product power,” Nike CEO and chairman Mark Parker said. The Amazon deal wasn’t something Nike was quick to jump on before, but now that it was being undercut by other Nike retailers on the popular e-commerce site, the move made a lot of sense. It’ll be interesting to see how Nike will present its products to Amazon customers.
