The Original 1989 Nike MAGs to be Auctioned Off
Marty McFly’s movie-worn kicks from ‘Back to the Future II.’
In November of last year, the last auctioned Nike MAGs went for a staggering $200,000 USD. The power-laced sneaker mimicked the 2011 recreation of the famous retro-futuristic sneakers that Michael J. Fox‘s character Marty McFly wore in Back to the Future II. Now, the original movie-worn sneakers from 1989 are up for auction at Comic-Con. While the original Nike MAGs are definitely more run-down than the 2016 recreations, the pair is a one-of-a-kind piece of sneaker and pop culture history.
