The Nike SB Blazer Mid “78-17” has been unveiled; sporting color-faded canvas Swooshes and the numbers “78” and “17” on the shoe’s leather embossed heels. The significance of the colorway and numbers remains a mystery, as does the release date, but it may be a homage to Tony Alva, who introduced Nike to the world of skateboarding by wearing a pair of green Blazers in the 1978 cult classic film Skateboard.

For now, check out the images and stay tuned for more info.
