Manchester United's 2017/18 Home Kit Mixes Heritage With the Latest Technologies
Updating the club’s iconic red home jersey.
adidas Football has unveiled Manchester United‘s home kit for the 2017/18 season. The kit is relatively minimalist in its design, and the club’s iconic shade of red is the standout feature of the shirt. As well as that, the shirt features red, white and black sleeves that represent the colors of the match-day flags bought by fans to games at Old Trafford. The jersey also sees the introduction of a new button-up collar. adidas Football has also focused on mixing old and new, with the kit both paying homage to Manchester United’s classic kits from the past and featuring technical, breathable fabrics and mesh engineering. As well as releasing the home shirt, adidas Football has also given us a look at the dark blue goalkeepers kit for the upcoming season.
Both jerseys are available now from the adidas web store, costing £89.95 GBP ($117 USD) for the authentic home jersey and £64.95 ($85 USD) for the replica version.
