SPYDER's Annual Han River Climbing Championship Kicks Off in Seoul
The only way is up.
Taking place on the South Korean capital’s iconic Han River, sports brand SPYDER‘s 2017 river climbing competition took place earlier this month. Aspiring champions had to scale an artificial wall teetering above the water, at a height that has been raised since last year. With a beautiful evening view of the city, audiences saw the competitors battle gravity, with Gautier Supper of France, currently ranked #2 in the world, winning the men’s category and Korea’s Kim Ja-in, who has won the international climbing world cup a staggering 25 times, winning the women’s competition.
