Virgil Abloh and EM PTY gallery just opened its doors to let the public see the Off-White™ 2018 spring/summer collection first hand in Paris. Alongside the intricate garments, accessories and other wares from brands within Abloh’s creative circle, there was also the appearance of a standout Vans model donning Off-White™’s signature motifs such as the “BLANK CANVAS” in quotation marks and the arrowed cross symbols. The shoes were initially seen on the runway in Milan for the 2018 spring/summer show but were hard to decipher due to lighting and choice of pants. But nevertheless, here they were clear as day at the “ANOTHER FIRST SHOW” presentation.
Furthermore, the model looks to be a Vans Black Ball SF model — the leather side stripe and toecap details are signature features of this particular design. The monochrome makeup as well as the “OFF” text on the vamp, completes the on-brand look of the shoe nicely. There’s no official word on release date or pricing yet, but stay tuned with us as we get more information.
