Pronounce’s spring/summer 2018 presentation marks the first of two GQ China-sponsored catwalks for the ascendant Chinese imprint. The brand’s designers, Yushan Li and Jun Zou, are both fashion wunderkinds: Yushan brings an MA from Central Saint Martins and a portfolio that includes work with Kanye West’s YEEZY team and Lane Crawford, among other projects; Jun is an alumnus of both Istituto Marangoni, where he worked with Ermenegildo Zegna, and the London College of Fashion. The synthesis of their creative visions produces sophisticated takes on menswear that incorporate influences from both East and West.

The spring/summer 2018 collection includes a range of tonal looks that included exaggerated takes on menswear staples like crewnecks and trenches. Fixtures and straps dangled and dragged behind flowing trousers with cinched waistlines. The palettes includes shades of black, white, oxblood and lavendar.
