Pharrell Reunites With the Minions In the Technicolor Video for "Yellow Light"
Including an 8-bit dance battle and plenty of bananas.
Pharrell has a storied history of collaborations across the board, but perhaps none have proven more mutually beneficial than his ongoing work with Despicable Me‘s Minions. Continuing the global smash momentum of “Happy,” Pharrell has reconnected with the banana-loving children’s characters in the cartoon-y visuals for the recently released “Yellow Light.” The music video sees Pharrell singing yet another optimistic anthem accompanied by a flock of the yellow creatures. The video features a dance battle between an 8-bit Skateboard P and Bratt, Despicable Me 3‘s primary antagonist.
